This is a portfolio of recent work that I’ve done. Contented with being a tradesman, an engineer, toolmaker, a nail bender and generational beacon.
Building each with a vision of the future generation’s use of a well built structure.
The environment and culture where doubling speed every 10 years is the pace, I find a deep connection and purpose in what I do every day and a little less in common with the info smog in the overly sensitized and popular, and “liked”. I am more of an Analog Man.
In my environment, simple goal is to maintain my productivity all day, every day, add to my capacity in skill sets and techniques, learn and enjoy myself! Simple.
However, a few years back In SF, I lead a crew of 5 Journeymen bags on. With smartphone, handled workload, all of the subs, Arch/Engr, building department, vendors and about 70+ inbound and outbound calls a day.

Beginning of another living space

Garage framing after laying all of my floor joist and girders.

I like to embed my metal strapping into the framing

Interior sheer wall, that will support a 6x18x30 glulam Installed with 2 helpers, one on each end as I tele-forked it in place. I still had to hop off the forklift and hop up on the roof to demonstrate how to hammer it in!
