Be an example of my work ethic, bags on, On site at 7 AM. Projects on budget, produce maximum man hours of work each hour, zero drama, not much of a conversational carpenter-work no talk.If you need someone who can blend in with your crew or lead it, read plans, manage subs, and still swing a hammer all day—let's talk.
RECENT:
2026 has been slow for skilled tradespeople, the market seems to favor those using social media and handyman apps to present themselves as experts in a field I've dedicated my career to.
This only worsens an ongoing problem in the trades: people who don't do good work and then cover it up. After decades in the trades, I feels like I've spent as much time correcting other people's hidden mistakes as doing my own work. Good work doesn't need to be covered up.
That said, I worked on a couple of small remodeling projects for a contractor, and another T111 siding demo and install, and a whole house replumb. On the personal side I rebuilt the top end of my chopper, dropped a rebuilt TH350 into the work truck, and gave my garden some serious TLC with new raised beds, best yields I've ever had and still going strong!
WHAT I HANDLE
(These are things I can do, but if you’re already handling them, I don’t have to!)
HOW I WORK
Last Big WildFire 2017
Stayed to protect property in Glen Ellen during evacuation. Contractor I was working for had some connections! Fire department escorted me to Beltain Ranch 2 days post-fire to complete framing I started and rafter and close in the roof before rain

A professional plumbing job on an on demand water heater.

A replacement on demand water heater that I installed replacing the professionally installed previous one. Passed inspection

2025 Ready for framing, needed to grout under the mud sill with high compression mortar to compensate for 1” out of level foundatin in a few stretches.

2025 Beginning of another living space. I offered to Contractor to rough in waste and venting before laying subfloor.
So, I did that too.

2025 Garage framing after laying all of my floor joist and girders.

I like to embed my metal strapping into the framing

I don’t like Spam or canned meats, other than Kippers, Anchovies, Sardines or Skipjack,
